Taiwan ZNA International Koi Show 2011
Koibito Japan was invited to Judge at the Taiwan ZNA International Koi Show 2011 at the end of September, which was in-turn part of the Taiwan International Fish Show, including tropical frsh/salt water fish as well...
The Taiwan International Fish show was held at the Taiwan World Trade Center in downtown Taipei City, and was opened by the President of Taiwan himself, Mr. Ma Ying-Jeou. The Taiwan ZNA Koi Show was held at the same time, and with a total of 1000 koi entered was an interesting show to Judge.
The winner was a 91 cm Sakai 4dan Kohaku...which as you can see, although not being in perfect condition, wouldn't have been out of place in most koi shows around the world. 2nd in the show was taken by another Kohaku of just under 90 cm, and 3rd was taken by a really nice looking Dainichi Showa, which with a little more body and development will be a good bet for the future title at this show.
The ZNA was represented by three Japanese judges from Japan, as well as other ZNA judges from Holland, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and of course Taiwan. Special VIP guest for the show were famous hobbyists from Thailand, Mr. Tepsit Rojratandumrong and Mr. Prathana Wanasook.
