Autumn Koi Season 2011
Koibito Japan is now in preparation mode for the coming Autumn Buying Season for 2011, which is nearly upon us
We have been travelling around Niigata this week meeting and greeting breeders, catching up with old friends, and finding out what the outlook is for this coming Autumn Buying season...and we are happy to tell our customers, that so far, so good. All the breeders are well into preparing for the coming buying season, and are looking forward to seeing their foreign customers again!
Many breeders have had a good summer, with nice weather for most of the summer. Some places in the norht did experience flooding in Niigata this summer, with a few farms reporting loss of a few newborn fry, but on the whole, there was no major damage to speak of...and certainly nothing to damage the coming koi season for this year and also Spring 2012.
We will be adding to the photos from Niigata and the South of Japan over the next week or so, so please check back from time to time to see what new photos we have for you...we will also try and post some videos here if we can, in the build up to October and the new season.
